June 2012
Greetings in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior
Just a quick update on BTSM, where we have been the last few months and where we are going.
Cheryl and I have spent the last year in prayer, seeking God and waiting on Him for what He desires us to do in the ministry.
God has now released sending me (Don) to India for 5 weeks, June 11th thru July 17th. Cheryl will stay home and continue caring for her 99-year-old mother as we have since returning from Liberia in May 2010. I will be traveling to NW India as well as Kashmir and Nepal.

Currently I am doing weekly bible studies at the Linn County Jail, preaching 1 Sunday a month as well as several one to one inmate visits each week. What a wonderful opportunity it has been to share the gospel with people who are so broken by the evils of alcohol, drug addiction, etc. I will continue my work there when I return.
We have many plans for the ministry in the upcoming months. Please pray for the ministry and us.
I will update you briefly, on what we have been doing since our return from Liberia, West Africa, in May 2010. As most of you know, the last 6 weeks there were very traumatic and it took several months to decompress and heal emotionally
Late summer 2010, we began our campground ministry with time in both Canada and Minnesota We were greatly blessed. We also continued street evangelizing at football games.
In January 2011, I traveled to England and Scotland. The flight was paid for thanks to our beloved Liberian mother, Florence Williams as I escorted her to her daughter home in London. I spent time in street evangelism, visiting old friends and meeting new fellow evangelists/missionaries. While there, I met with the leaders of CMFI, (Christian Ministerial Fellowship International) in an evaluation of Cheryl and my work and in preparation for my ordination.
I was also blessed traveling to Thailand in March 2011 as a medical tourist for evaluation of my kidney stone that is too large to pass. I spent time with fellow missionary Scott Noble and a friend Tony doing street work in Bangkok and Chaigmai in areas where both Thai and English are spoken and many tourists gather. I hope to return to work with Scott.
I was blessed to be ordained by CMFI and to have the ordination ceremony preformed by my beloved brother in Christ, Pastor Bill Randles with my brothers and sisters at my home church, Believers in Grace on May 21st 2011. What a joy it was and what a great responsibility it is.
Cheryl and I traveled to the oil fields of North Dakota in the summer of 2011 to evangelize. We also spent 3 days handing out tracts and doing open air preaching in Madison WI, quite the place!
Fall in Iowa means Football and for us prime areas to evangelize and street preach. Normally we only do the Iowa home games and an occasional Iowa State game but last year the Lord led us to travel to Penn State about a month before the scandal was exposed concerning a coach abusing young boys for many years. God in His mercy sent someone to proclaim the gospel in a place where football is an idol and even the stadium is on a hill, literally a high place where people gather to worship that idol. God has His ways of destroying the high places.
As stated, I am leaving for India and covet your prayers. Cheryl will keep you informed.
This will be my itinerary while in India with Pastor DK:
- June 14-20 we will be in Mohali Chandigarh
- June 21-24 we will be in Mukeria Punjab
- June 25 to July 1 we will be in Jammu and Kashmir
- July 2-8 we will be in Himachal Pradest
- July 9-16 we will return back to Mohali ChandigarhBlessing and honor and glory to our God for thru HIM all things are possible.

PROPHESY on June 7th 2009 while in Sanniquellie, Liberia at 0735
While Don was in the process of preparing a sermon for Grace & Peace church, totally unrelated to what came forth in power thru the Holy Spirit he stated, "the Lord just showed me something." As he began to speak I wrote as fast as I could while he spoke deep in the Holy Spirit.
"The Lord our God speaks unto His people. The remnant is scattered and it is small throughout your nation fear and concern has come upon His people for those who knew Him have turned away and have turned their backs to God and idolatry has set in and you seek not the things of God.
Fear not my people who know me, great tribulation will come upon you, destruction will hover above you but those who know me will be kept and great and mighty signs and wonders will come forth from you. Suffering will be yours but I will be Glorified, but thru the darkness I will be your GOD and be with you.
Hence forth cry out this warning and speak that their God is greatly displeased for much has been given to my people, now much will be taken for they will see My anger and fierceness. Be low in front of your God and Repent. Turn back to the old paths and seek my face for you will find joy in the morning and feast in the tempest for men will want what I have and you will speak."e "eThus says the Lord God Almighty."
Then the still small voice of the Lord spoke to me and commanded me thru this verse.
ISAIAH 21:6 "For thus has the Lord said to me: 'Go set a watchman and let him declare what he sees."
